Diving

Bild "Tauchen-GOZO.jpg"With a visibility up to 30 m Gozo is undoubtedly a diving mecca with very attractive diving spots. In summer the water temperature is up to 26 degrees. The mild winter temperatures offers all-year-round diving.
The unique landscape make Gozo ideal for both beginner and experienced diver.





Walking and Hiking


Bild "hiking.jpg"Due to the mild temperatures Gozo is at its best from October to May. The average temperature in this period is around 18C, ideal for rambling around the island. You will see a variety of amazing views, big waves exploding on big boulders and lofty cliffs.
A large number of valleys, hills and small beaches make each walk an interesting one.





Biking

Bild "biking.jpg"Gozo invites bikers of all ages with some steep hills, simple shepherds trails and roads largely empty of traffic. Explore the small sleepy villages and the lovely countryside. If you like you can stop for a swim in the sea which can never be far away.







Water sports

Bild "watersports.jpg" Hondoq Bay is great for swimming and snorkeling, with a small sandy beach and crystal clear water - a great place to spend the day during your holiday in Gozo. But Hondoq Bay is also the best location for watersports and for boat trips around the Maltese islands. You can do lots of activities - such as joyrides, wake-boarding, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boats, water-skiing, speedboat trips (including Comino and the Blue Lagoon) and self-drive boat hire.
